8 slices bacon
½ cup corn flake crumbs
5 eggs
2 ½ cups frozen hash brown potatoes
1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
½ cup cottage cheese
1/3 cup milk
3 green onions, thinly slices
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 drops hot pepper sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp, drain, and crumble, reserving 1 tbsp. of the bacon drippings. Mix corn flake crumbs with warm bacon drippings and set aside.

In medium sized bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Stir in potatoes, cheeses, milk, onion, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan and sprinkle with crumb mixture and bacon. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake, uncovered, at 325º for 50 minutes, or until knife comes out clean when inserted in center. Yields: 6 servings.

Note: Recipe can be doubled and baked in a 9” x 13” pan.
