8 (1 oz) squares semisweet chocolate
2 tbsps. corn syrup

Cook whipping cream in a small heavy saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring often, just until thoroughly heated. Add semisweet chocolate and corn syrup, stirring until chocolate melts. Yields: 11/2 cups.
