1 stick (or 1/2 c.) butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
pinch of salt
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
In a frying pan add butter and brown-(to cook until golden brown in color).Remove from heat.In a bowl,add the cooked butter,and sugar,mix well. In another bowl beat eggs, set aside. SLOWLY, begin to add heated mixture to the eggs. Beat well, Add pecans and syrup, Mix well. Pour into pie shell and cook for around 1 hour at 325 degrees.

**Secret to not burning edges of pie shell, place small pieces of aluminum foil around edges to prevent getting too brown.
