2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups organic chunky peanut butter
2 cups milk chocolate or dark chocolate chunks

Directions:

Mix flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until very fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture, beat until blended and fluffy.

Drop 2 tbsp. balls onto a non greased cookie sheet two inches apart.

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire racks.

These cookies are not for the faint of heart. They are a serious encounter that will delight the pallet and inspire the senses.

An interesting variation is to press shaved almond slices onto the top of the balls before baking. Yummy
