1 large can pears
1 large can rings or chunks of pineapple
1 large can peaches
1 large can apricots
Red cherries for garnish
1/2 cup dry sherry
1 stick butter
12-14 fresh macaroon cookies
1/4 cup brown sugar
slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble butter, macaroons, almonds and brown sugar together. Place 1/3 of this mixture on the bottom of a deep, oven proof bowl. Arrange 1/2 of fruit on top of crumb mixture. Sprinkle with another layer of crumbs, then fruit, then top with crumb mixture. Top with pineapple rings and place a cherry in the middle of each ring. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
