1/3 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly mix shortening, sugar, and egg.
Blend in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk.
Grease 12 muffin cups and fill 2/3 full.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Immediately dip or roll in melted butter, then in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
