5 lbs pears
10 cups sugar
2 (8 1/2 oz) cans crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Peel pears. Remove hard core and discard. Put pears thru food chopper, using course blade (or coursely chop with knife). Combine pears, sugar and pineapple. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and pears are clear. Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
