- 2 cups - brown sugar
- 1/4 cup - butter
- 1/2 cup - milk
- 1 tsp - vanilla

- in a saucepan boil sugar, butter, milk over medium heat till soft ball stage
- cool slightly, then add vanilla
- beat on medium speed until spreading consistency
