1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Don’t forget that feathered friends count on you in the winter. When it’s cold outside, they especially need suet too build up extra fat. Give this recipe for homemade suet a try.

Melt lard and peanut butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add cornmeal and sunflower seeds. Pour into pan lined with wax paper and chill until set. To serve place hunk of suet in an empty mesh onion bag and hang from tree branch.
