2, 40 oz. cans Pork and Beans
1 c. ketchup
2 cups brown sugar
2 T. mustard (or more to your liking)
1 lb. bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
1. Pour beans in large bowl and add ketchup, sugar and mustard. Stir well with a spatula.
2. Pour beans into appropriate size baking dish and top with 1 lb. bacon, making sure all the beans are covered with the bacon strips.
3. Use a top or foil to cover the beans and bake at 350ºF for one hour, then lower to 300ºF and cook 2 more hours.
4. After done remove cover or foil. Turn broiler on to brown the bacon, being careful not to burn it.
5. Remove from oven and let cool. Refrigerate overnight, do not cover while in refrigerator. Reheat on low until heated through before serving.

A great recipe because you can make it the day before. This has been a hit at our picnics for many years, everyone loves them. I believe by refrigerating them and then warming again, they are not runny. So thick and tasty! Enjoy!
