Potato mixture:
3 cups sweet potato, mashed
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of cinnamon

Topping:
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. pecans or walnuts
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
1. Grease a 9 x 12" pan with butter.
2. For the potato mixture: using a mixer, blend together all ingredients until smooth. Add to greased pan.
3. For the topping: mix all ingredients together well and spread on top of potato mixture.
4. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes or until topping is browned to your liking.

My family and friends really enjoy this dish. We always make it for Thanksgiving Dinner or anytime we decide to cook a turkey throughout the year. I can guarantee it is not low in calories, but oh so good!!
