2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
5 slices bread
2 cups + 2 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a large pot halfway with water and 1 tsp. salt; bring to a full boil.
Beat together eggs, salt, milk, melted butter and bread slices.
Add flour; mix well with a spoon till stiff. Add additional flour if needed. Spoon-drop into boiling water till dumpling rises to the surface, about 15-20 min.

These dumpling are great, I usually double this recipe. Sliced up dumplings fried in butter and dusted with paprika for breakfast*** great
