Brown Sugar 1 c
Butter or margarine 1/2 c
Cream 1/4 c
Raisins or currants 3/4 c
Egg 1
Vanilla 1 tsp.
Cinnamon 1/4 tsp.

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar and margarine to a boil and remove from heat. Beat in egg, vanilla and cinnamon. Put desired amount of raisins in the bottom of tart shell. Cover to the bottom of the fluted edge with sugar/egg mixture. Bake at 400º for 12-15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.

Mildred always uses butter which gives more flavour. One pound of butter will make about 8 dozen tarts.
