2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
5 T. cold unsalted butter
1 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in butter and blend with fingers until coarse meal forms. Add buttermilk until sticky dough forms. (If not sticky, add a little more than a cup.) Drop 6 biscuits 2" apart on cookie sheet or in an iron pan. Cook at 450º for 12-15 minutes.
Also great for Strawberry Shortcake!!
