3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºF.
1. Grease and flour a square pan. 
2. Mix sugar, butter, and egg thoroughly. Stir in milk. Blend dry ingredients; stir in. 
3. Spread batter in pan.
4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top. Bake at 375°F for 25-35 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Serve warm.
