2 egg whites
1 lb. (2 cups) powdered sugar
1/2 c. solid shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put everything into the mixer and whip until light.
You will have enough frosting to ice an 8 or 9" double layer cake. This will keep in an air-tight container in refrigerator for several weeks.
