Green beans, washed and ends snapped off Sliced almonds Salt, pepper Butter, olive oil
1. Steam green beans until al dente. 2. Put butter and olive oil (eyeball the amount for the amount of green beans you have) in a large pan. Saute the sliced almonds until crisp and slightly browned. 3. Add green beans (be careful of the splatter from the water hitting the hot oil). Salt and pepper to taste. Mix together and serve immediately.
