1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. pumpkin
2 eggs
1 c. walnuts, chopped (or peanuts)
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
2 c. raisins
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add pumpkin and eggs. Stir in dry ingredients and raisins. Mix thoroughly. Drop by large rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake in 375 for 12-15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
