One 3-4 lb. whole turkey (if frozen, get a couple of days ahead of time & thaw in frig.)

Mixture to put on turkey:
Juice & coarsely grated peel of two lemons
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt & pepper to taste (I don't use much)

Mixture for crockpot:
1 14 oz. can of chicken broth
2 Tablespoons melted butter
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Cup white wine

Combine all ingredients listed under "mixture to put on turkey".

Place turkey on a plate and rub this mixture all over turkey and some up under the skin.

Place turkey in crockpot, breast side down.

Combine all ingredients listed under "mixture for crockpot".

Pour this mixture around turkey and some in turkey cavity and drizzle some over the rest of the turkey, being careful not to rinse off the spices.

Cook on low for 8 or 9 hours.

When done, the turkey will fall off the bones. The meat is very tender and juicy.
