4 large russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4" coins
2 quarts chicken stock
1 lb. mild Italian turkey sausage
4 strips of bacon, finely crumbed
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 bunch of fresh kale, finely chopped
1 onion, diced
1 tsp. red pepper flake
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
On the stove top, brown and crumble Italian sausage.
Add and saute chopped onion. Add cooked bacon, stock and
potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are well cooked and starting to
break down. Add cream and kale to soup pot. Simmer for
another 15 minutes (until kale as softened). Let cool, serve.

Watch out Olive Garden! You will save a few bucks and feed an
army with this recipe. It's an inexpensive soup that is restaurant
