2 lbs. stew meat
2 quarts water
8 beef bullion cubes
4 c. tomato juice or V-8 juice
1 large onion chopped
1/4 cups barley
2 T. white rice
1/4 c. alphabet macaroni
4 to 6 carrots sliced
1/2 can green peas or green beans
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 can corn or fresh if in season

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer the stew meat in a crockpot for 6-7 hours or over night. Add bay leaves, salt and just enough water to cover the meat. Place the remaining ingredients in a large pan. Add the stew meat. Simmer until carrots and barley are done. Try to make this a day before and then serve.
