Pastry for 9" Pie Shell
2 T Butter
1 1/2 cup pumpkin (canned)
1 t ginger
1 1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t mace
1/4 t cloves
2 eggs
2 T flour
1/2 c dark brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 t salt
1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9" pie pan with pastry and keep cool in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 450º. Melt the butter and stir into pumpkin along with ginger, cinnamon, mace and cloves.
In a separate bowl beat the eggs until light and frothy. Stir in the flour, both sugars, salt and milk into beaten eggs, then mix egg mixture and pumpkin mixture together with a gentle hand. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust and bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 375º for 45 minutes or until knife comes clean.
