1 1/2- 2c. of mac. noodles

sauce:
3T. butter
3T. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
dash pepper
1/8 c. (2T.) diced onion
2 c. shredded cheese

oven at 350
while macaroni cooks, make white sauce of the first 6 ingredients:

Melt butter in sauce pan.
Blend in flour using wire whisk.
Add milk.
cook and stir with wire whisk until think, you will have to reduce heat a little because it with scorch the bottom of the pan easily.
add salt pepper and onion.

add cheese and stir until melted.

Drain macaroni and mix with sauce in casserole dish. I crumble up saltine crackers and sprinkle on top. Bake for 45 mins. Yummy!
