2 egg whites ¾ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat egg whites until fairly stiff. Add sugar and continue beating until very stiff. Add vanilla, chocolate chips, pecans, and salt,. and blend together. Drop by teaspoons full onto a foil-lined cookie sheet. Turn oven completely off as soon as cookies are in oven. Best to start cookies at night before bedtime. Do not open oven door until the next morning. Yields about 3 dozen cookies.
