"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 box powdered sugar 1 stick margarine or butter 1/3 cup whiskey 1 cup finely chopped nuts 4 squares bitter chocolate 1 tsp. wax
Mix the sugar, margarine, whiskey, and nuts in a medium size bowl. Place in refrigerator until chilled. Shape into balls and place back in refrigerator. Now melt the chocolate and wax in a double boiler. Donít let moisture get to the chocolate. It might cause spotting. Dip balls into the chocolate (a toothpick works well) and place on wax paper. Yields: 20 balls.
