2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. milk
6 T. cocoa
4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 t. vanilla
pinch of salt

Mix sugar, margarine milk , cocoa, and salt together in large saucepan. Bring to boil Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add oatmeal and vanilla. Mix well.
Drop by tsp. on waxed paper.
Substitution: 1 c. flaked coconut and 2 T. peanut butter for oatmeal.
