Ingredients:  
1 c persimmon pulp
1 c chopped nuts
1 c raisins
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c shortening (oil, butter or vegetable)
1 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add nuts and raisins to flour. Beat egg and add to pulp. Add pulp to shortening and sugar. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients

Drop on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 for 10 - 15 minutes
