1 (4 oz.) package German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt German chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove from heat and gradually blend in evaporated milk. In a bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend into chocolate mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Combine coconut and nuts. Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375º for 45 minutes or until set. Cool before cutting.
