2 slices whole wheat or white bread
4 c milk
1 egg beaten
1 tsp salt
4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of allspice
1 tbsp grated onion
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp of butter or margarine
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 c water
1/2 package of your favorite noodles
1/2 c sour cream
1 tsp dill weed

Directions:

Crumble bread and soak in milk. Stir in egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg, allspice, onion and parsley; mix in meat. Form small balls using 1 tbsp of meat for each ball. Brown meat balls in butter; push to side of pan. Blend flour into butter, add water, stirring until gravy is thick. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Cook noodles as directed. In serving dish spoon meat balls over noodles. Blend sour cream and dill into gravy; pour over meat balls.
