Ingredients:  
- 1 cup - brown sugar
- 2 tbsp - butter- melted
- 1 can pineapple slices

Cake batter
- 1/2 cup - butter
- 3/4 cup - sugar
- 2 eggs - beaten
- 1/2 tsp - vanilla
- 3/4 cup - milk
- 1 3/4 cups - pastry or 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp - salt
- 2 tsp - baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º F

- butter 3 inch x 8 inch round cake pan
- add brown sugar and melted butter- stir to melt
- place drained pineapple slices to cover bottom, sides of pan
- mix cake batter together
- pour over pineapple
- bake approximately 45 minutes- or until center of cake is firm
- invert onto cake plate
- cool
-serve with whip cream
