1 12oz. package semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
36 Chocolate Kisses or Hugs, unwrapped
2 oz. white baking bar or vanilla candy coating
1 tsp. shortening

Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In medium saucepan combine chocolate chips and butter. Cook and stir over very low heat until melted and smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Roll dough around Kiss candy forming a ball. Bake approximately 10 minutes. Melt together white coating and 1 tsp. shortening. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
