3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs (separated)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon of grated lemon rind
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour in a quart bowl or casserole. Add soft butter and blend. Add unbeaten egg yolks and beat until smooth. Add lemon rind, and juice, milk, stir to mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Wipe edge of bowl clear and set in a pan of hot water. Bake in a low rack in oven at 350 degrees for 40 - 50 mins.. Serve warm.
