2-1/2 lbs pork or chicken (cut into pieces) 2 tbsp salt 1 tsp ground pepper or pepper corns 2 large bay leaves, crushed 1/4 cup vinegar 1 clove garlic, crushed 1-2" size ginger root, crushed 1/4 cup shoyu
Combine all of the above ingredients except shoyu. Simmer for 1 hour over medium heat. Add shoyu about half hour before it is done.
*I just add everything at the same time after browning the garlic and ginger in a little oil. Tastes just as good!
