2 C butter
4 C flour
2 t b soda
2 t b powder
2 C sugar
2 C brown sugar
5 C blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and grind to fine powder in blender or food processor)
1 t salt
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
~ 24 oz choc chips
~ 3 C chopped nuts (optional)

- preheat oven to 375

- grind oatmeal to fine powder
- add to other dry ingredients and sift
- cream butter and both sugars
- add eggs and vanilla
- combine dry ingredients to wet
- add choc chips and nuts
- bake for 10-12 minutes
