2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 mild Italian Sausage
1 lbs mushroom- 5 diced fine, rest sliced
1 large onion diced
1 small can tomato paste
1 can stewed tomatoes
5 can tomato sauce
3 Tbs bread crumbs
1 egg
3 tbs basil
3 tbs oregano
8 garlic cloves minced
4 Tbs olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Meat Balls:
in large mixing bowl mix ground beef,5 diced mushrooms, 4 tbls diced onions,1 egg, 1 Tbs basil,1Tbs oregano, 1/2 ts salt, 1/2 tsp pepper and 3 Tbs bread crumbs. mix well and mold into small meat balls. While making meat balls brown sausage in large frying pan with 2 tbls olive oil. When done put into large stock pot with drippings.
Brown meatballs in frying pan and then place in large stock pot. Saute mushrooms,onion,garlic in 2 tbls olive oil. Place into large stock pot. Put remaining items into pot- tomatoe sauce,tomato paste, 2 tbls basil, w tbs oregano,and salt & pepper. Mix well. Add 5 cans of water and mix. bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a very low simmer and cover. Stir Often, every 10 to 15 minutes. Cook until sauce is thick. Cooking time will be 3 to 4 hours.
