1 c, quick oats or Old Fashioned oats
1 3/4 cups water
1 apple, peeled and chopped
2 T. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 T. butter
30 - 45 nuts (raw almonds, raw pecans, raw walnuts)
Real maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil; add oatmeal, apple, raisins, and cinnamon.
2. Reduce heat to medium and cook according to oatmeal instructions (generally one minute for quick cook and 5 minutes for Old Fashioned). Stir occasionally.
3. Add butter to oatmeal, cover and let sit to melt the butter.
4. Add nuts and mix. Top with maple syrup.
