This was easy. It would have to be Christmas breakfast. (Occasionally I would try a variation of these recipes, but that always brought a strong protest.) For many years we have had this tradition.

We would open stockings and eat breakfast. Barry would read Scripture or a Christmas story, and then we would leisurely open gifts one at a time. Later in the day, we would have a crock pot rump roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, vegetables, and often an apple pie. But the best meal is breakfast.
