2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c water
1 c vegetable oil
2 tbsp. distilled white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees C)
2. In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking soda,
salt and cocoa.
3. Add water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
Beat by hand until smooth.
4. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
