Fresh green beans (a handful or so per person)
3-4 strips bacon
Butter
Slivered almonds
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the bacon in a frying pan and discard the grease. Chop up the bacon and set aside.
Steam the green beans in a steamer until tender.
Place the beans, bacon, almond slivers in a baking dish and dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and squirt a little lemon juice over the top.
Bake at about 350º for 15 minutes or so or until heated through.
