"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Melt butter n a large pot and slowly whisk in the flour to make a paste as you cook on medium heat. Stirring constantly, whisk in all the beef broth, a little at a time. Add in Kitchen Bouquet, Accent, the three additional bouillon cubes, about a 1/2 tsp of salt and approx. 1/4 tsp of pepper (and garlic if you wish).
Add tomatoes, vegetables, potatoes, onion, carrots, and finally the cooked and drained ground beef. Simmer several hours until all the vegetables (ex. potatoes and carrots) are well cooked. The longer you simmer, the richer the flavor.

This makes a great meal with soft bread and either fruit or tossed salad. It's wonderful on a cold day.

Leftovers can be frozen as well.
