1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 T. melted margarine
2 T. shortening
1/2 c. grated cheese, divided
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add 1/4 c. cheese. Add milk to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board and knead gently 30 seconds. Roll out to rectangular sheet 9-inches long and 1/4-inch thick. Spread with remaining 1/4 c. cheese. Roll up like a jelly roll and seal edge. Cut in 1/2-inch slices and place slices in greased 3-inch muffin pans, setting slices on edge. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
