1/2 C sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/3 C vinegar
1 C vegetable oil
4 C torn lettuce
1 C seedless grapes, halved
1 large apple
1/2 C celery
1/2 C walnuts (optional)
1/3 C crumbled blue cheese
1/2 C croutons

If you don't want to make the dressing I sometimes use Mother's dressing which is in the cookbook.
