1/2 Cup Self-Rising Corn Meal
1/2 Cup Self-Rising Flour
1 Egg
2 Tablespoons Bacon Grease, Oil or Shortening
1 Cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat grease or oil in cast iron skillet as oven heats.
Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, milk and 2 Tablespoons hot grease.
Pour off excess grease from pan (be careful; extra hot; be sure to pour hot grease into a heat proof container).
Cook in oven 20 minutes at 450 degrees.
