1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (reserve c. liquid)
c. diced green pepper
c. diced red pepper
c. butter
c. flour
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
2 c. cream
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed cooked chicken
2 pkgs. Pepperidge Farm pastry shells

Bake pastry shells according to directions. In a large skillet, cook and stir mushrooms and diced peppers in butter for 5 minutes. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in cream, broth and reserved mushroom liquid. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Add chicken. Serve hot in pastry shells.
