5 cups milk
1 cup instant polenta
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tsp. salt divided
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper, divided
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
4 large pork chops
2 tbsp. veg. oil
1/4 cup prepared pan gravy

In med saucepan, bring milk to boil over med/hi heat. Add polenta, bacon, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper; cook, stirring freq. until polenta is soft. Stir in butter and cheese; set aside and keep warm. Sprinkle pork with remaining salt and pepper. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over med/hi heat. Add pork and cook 10 min. turning occasionally. Serve pork over polenta with pan gravy.
