3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 beaten egg
2 cups flour
2 T. cherry juice
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, cut fine
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and add brown sugar. Blend in egg. Sift dry ingredients and add the vanilla, coconut, nuts and cherries and cherry juice. Drop by t. on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350º.

This was a wonderful cookie my Mother always made even when she became quite elderly.
