1 c. brown sugar
½ c. margarine
1 egg
1 ½ c. flour
1 ½ c. oatmeal
pinch salt
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
2 T. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream brown sugar, margarine and egg. Add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and vanilla; mix well. Press 2/3 of the dough into a greased jelly roll pan; set aside.

In a saucepan melt together the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and margarine until smooth and creamy; add vanilla.

Spread the filling on top of the dough in the pan. Dot the remaining dough on top of the filling. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until the top crust pieces are cookie-like done. Cool and serve.
