Cake ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts finely chopped
1 yellow cake mix
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup dark rum

Glaze:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark rum

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of a 9x13 pan or a bundt pan.

Mix cake ingredients and pour over nuts. Bake 1 hour. Invert onto a serving plate. Prick top while still warm.

Prepare glaze:
Melt butter in a sauce pan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add rum.

Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over top and sides.
