4 cups peeled apples
1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
1 cup sugar
1 heaping tablespoon flour
juice of one lemon
Topping:
1 cup flour
2 cups quick oatmeal
2/3 cup white sugar
1 t. brown sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Cut apples in long strips (1/4 inch thick). Peel in a spiral motion with a vegetable peeler. Place all above ingredients in a large bowl. Stir and spoon into medium sized, greased baking dish.

In another bowl, stir together topping mixture. Mix together lightly until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over apples and berries.

Bake in 350º oven about 30 minutes or until juice bubbles up through topping.

Serve warm with Cool Whip.
