Crust:
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
Custard:
5 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
6 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk or half & half
4-5 c. rhubarb, cut up
Meringue:
5 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crust ingredients until mixed thoroughly. Pat mixture into a 9.x.13" pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350º.
Custard:beat egg yolks. Add sugar, flour, salt & milk; mix until well blended. Stir in rhubarb. Pour in to crust. Bake at 350º for 50-60 minutes.
Combine meringue ingredients & beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over crust. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
